15th MEU Marines Reembark USS Boxer After RIMPAC Deployment

USS BOXER (LHD 4), PACIFIC OCEAN – July 23, 2024

MV-22B Ospreys and CH-53E Super Stallions from VMM-165 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, execute tactical redeployment of Marines and equipment aboard USS Boxer (LHD 4) off the coast of Hawaii, June 23. The movement follows the unit’s direct participation in Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2024.

Elements of the 15th MEU are now fully embarked and operating with the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group, maintaining combat readiness and projecting force across the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of responsibility.
