1/2 Marines Conduct Live-Fire at Range 410A – SLTE 5-24

TWENTYNINE PALMS, CALIFORNIA – July 17, 2024

Marines with 1st Battalion, 2d Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division execute a platoon live-fire exercise on Range 410A as part of Service Level Training Exercise (SLTE) 5-24 at the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms.

SLTE 5-24 is designed to forge combat-ready Marine forces capable of operating within a fully integrated Marine Air Ground Task Force. The live-fire event strengthens small-unit lethality and tactical coordination under realistic, combat-simulated conditions.
