U.S. Navy Warships Depart for RIMPAC 2024 Force Integration Phase

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, HAWAII – July 8, 2024

Arleigh Burke-class destroyers USS Frank E. Petersen Jr. (DDG 121) and USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG 54), along with Ticonderoga-class cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59), depart Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam to commence the force integration phase of Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2024.

As part of the world’s largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC 2024 brings together 29 nations, 40 surface ships, 3 submarines, 14 national land forces, over 150 aircraft, and 25,000 personnel to strengthen coalition interoperability and secure global maritime stability.
