31st MEU Executes Urban Raid Training – Camp Hansen, Okinawa

CAMP HANSEN, OKINAWA, JAPAN – June 26, 2024

U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct a simulated urban raid on Combat Town, sharpening their effectiveness in military operations on urbanized terrain (MOUT). This exercise enhances tactical interoperability and close-quarters combat capabilities.

As the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, the 31st MEU delivers a flexible, lethal, and ready crisis response force across the Indo-Pacific theater.
