Lavender Simple Syrup
* 1 cup water
* 1 cup organic sugar
* ¼ cup culinary lavender buds

Instructions:
* Add the water and organic sugar to a small saucepan and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. 

* Once the water and sugar is gently boiling (this allows the sugar to dissolve), add the lavender. Allow the lavender to infuse the water and organic sugar for 5 minutes. The water should have a light purple hue.

* Once the sugar is dissolved, strain the syrup to remove the lavender buds and put in a jar to cool. Keep in the refrigerator.
