176th Wing Rescue Triad Executes Full-Spectrum Capability Exercise – Alaska

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, ALASKA – June 25, 2024

Alaska Air National Guardsmen from the 210th, 211th, and 212th Rescue Squadrons conduct a joint capabilities exercise at Malemute Drop Zone. The drill demonstrates full-spectrum rescue operations including high-altitude parachute insertions, in-flight refueling, emergency medical response, personnel recovery, and hoist extraction.

The HH-60G Pave Hawk, HC-130J Combat King II, and elite pararescuemen (PJs) and combat rescue officers (CROs) work in unison to prove readiness for real-world operations across remote and contested environments.
