Homeless Man Shot After Resisting Arrest and Fighting with Deputies in Kern County

On April 13, 2020, the Kern County Sheriff's Office Incident Review Board convened to consider the use of force in an officer-involved shooting that occurred on March 21, 2020.

After reviewing all of the facts involved in this case, the Incident Review Board determined the use of force in this incident was within departmental policy.
