The Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God

Jesus came to this earth to go to the cross in order to redeem all of mankind, both Jew and Gentile. But in His coming, the Jews of His day were offered the Kingdom of Heaven. What would have happened after the cross if the Jews had accepted the Kingdom of Heaven?
