With initial peace talks having taken place near the end of last year, Americans can breathe a little easier. The British have evacuated the Southern cities of Savannah and Charleston without incident, and soon will be gone for good. Today we discuss the Newburgh Conspiracy and the Treaty of Paris, which leads to Evacuation Day in New York City. This is 1783 in America.
