The episode follows Roger Smith as he investigates the disappearance of a reporter and discovers hidden, technologically advanced areas beneath Paradigm City. This underground world contains remnants of technology from before the "Event" that erased everyone's memories, and it's a place Roger often uses to move the giant robot, Big O.
