DIY Dried Citrus Garland | Christmas Countdown Craft Using Nature-Inspired Materials 🍊🌲

In today’s video, I’m showing you how to make this beautiful citrus garland using oranges, lemons, grapefruits, and a few simple craft supplies. This nature-inspired project is part of my Christmas Countdown series, where I’m celebrating the season with handmade crafts using items commonly found in nature.

This garland is bright, fresh, and versatile—you can hang it on a tree, drape it over a mantel, or incorporate it into a holiday swag. I’ll take you step by step through the process: from slicing and drying the citrus to stringing everything together with wooden beads, mini pinecones, eucalyptus, and more.

Here’s a quick overview of what I used:
• Blood and mandarin oranges, lemons, and grapefruit (sliced and dehydrated)
• Wooden beads and spools
• Artificial eucalyptus (Dollar General find!)
• Mini pinecones
• Jute twine
• A little trial and error with tools (yes, even a nail!)

Whether you’re crafting in the summer like I did (hello, June filming!) or gearing up for the holidays, this is a fun, low-cost, high-impact project. Plus, it’s kid-friendly—just watch the poking part. 😉

🕒 Time to make: Around 30 minutes once the fruit is dried, alternative method, bake at 200 degrees for 3-6 hours, flip hourly.
💡 Bonus tips: Try adding walnuts, cranberries, or cinnamon sticks if you’re making this closer to the holidays!

I’d love to know—what would YOU add to your garland? Drop a comment and let me know!
