We have to get back to a place where young men walk with the understanding that there’s always the potential threat of violence when dealing with other men. And it’s precisely that ever-present possibility that used to teach men to carry themselves with a certain reverence—not out of fear, not for bravado, and definitely not to boast, but because they respected the unknown in another man.

This isn’t about being bulletproof or trying to dominate—it’s about acknowledging the gravity of what might lie beneath the surface. That’s part of what it means to be Guerrilla Minded—to move with awareness, humility, and quiet strength.

So if you’re a young man and you constantly find yourself at odds with older men, ask yourself this:
Is it because you mistake them for your peers or your competition…
When maybe you should be seeing them as your teachers?
