The other topic for today is the return of supersonic airliners. The US had one on the drawing boards, but environmental activists and concern over sonic booms killed the project when Congress banned sonic booms over the US. Have you seen a map of the US with how much land the cities take up? Do you realize how easy it would be to avoid major cities when flying coast to coast? Ok, well that argument is gone because new technology allows for supersonic flight by airliners without generating a sonic boom.

Two airliners will be on the scene soon. The Concorde is coming back. Boom is building the Overture.
