French & Future Funk Mix

Towards the end of 2024 I have gotten a taste of Future Funk and was immediately hooked. Being a synthesist, a fan of the 80s and love house music, this genre was practically made for me.

Future funk is a genre of music that combines funk, disco, and electronic music to create a nostalgic yet modern sound. It’s characterized by its use of samples from the 1970s and 1980s. It’s a vibe that'll make you wanna groove like it's 1984 but with a futuristic twist.

I have taken cue from it's japanese influence and have created this mix and video, using the genre's style of city pop, Anime and Kawaii Culture; there is heavy japanese influence on Future Funk, hope I did the community proud.
