House Speaker Mike Johnson became the latest lawmaker to get on board Wednesday with efforts to ratchet up sanctions against Russia, blasting Moscow’s president, Vladimir Putin, for being unwilling to end his invasion of Ukraine.

“I don’t know any details yet but I know there’s an interest in that in the House side, so we’ll have to see,” Johnson told reporters.
