Wildfire near Marseille under control but risks remain

A large wildfire that reached the outskirts of Marseille is now under control, according to officials in France’s second-largest city. However, the fire is still burning and could flare up again due to strong winds and dry conditions. The blaze forced residents to evacuate their homes, shut down roads, and caused disruptions to flights and train services. Firefighters continue efforts to fully contain the fire and prevent new outbreaks.
