How to reset ASUSTOR NAS network settings user password and login details
This video will be useful if you have lost access to your ASUSTOR NAS device.
You lose connectivity through various issues such as
Forgotten user name and password
Locked out of system due to repeated incorrect login attempts
Changed router or mesh systems
wrong IP address on NAS
Wrong username on account.

So how do you fix this WITHOUT losing DATA on your NAS?
Well ASUSTOR have actually embedded a system that allows you to RESET the devices Network details to the factory defaults, AND at the same time it will ENABLE the hidden or disabled Admin account so you can login in Locally and then reset the network settings if they are wrong.
Also now you will have access to the NAS on an Admin level so you can enable any disabled user accounts and change any passwords if needed.

After logging off the Admin account it is strongly advised to login as a member of the Admin group and then disable the main Admin user account again for security reasons.

To enable the Admin account and reset the Network settings to their defaults you can use a pin or paperclip, sim eject tool etc to press in the NAS Reset button that is located on the back of the device.
Press it in a hold until you hear a single beep, then release.
IF YOU HOLD FOR LONGER YOU COULD RESET AND DELETE ALL THE DATA ON THE DISKS.
