Saint Maria Goretti - The Power of Forgiveness

The feast day for 11-year-old Saint Maria Goretti is celebrated on July 6th. Her short life can inspire us with hope and knowing that anger and resentment can be overcome with forgiveness and love.

St. Maria’s tragic death became so much more than a tragedy, but gives us all hope that even the most hardened sinner can repent and be saved. Mercy rather than outrage is what we can be inspired with. St. Maria Goretti, pray for us!!
