Lust is a strong desire, often unsatiable, that overreaches proper boundaries - especially in matters of the heart, mind, and physical intimacy. At it's core, it involves an inward pull toward what is forbidden or what violates one's relationship with others and with God. Unlike healthy attraction, lust persistently seeks self-gratification without regard for the well-being or dignity of others. Lust is coveting and craving.
