David Wilkerson was an American born pastor and evangelist. He founded Teen Challenge, Times Square Church, and World Challenge, Inc. He was born on May 19, 1931, in Indiana, raised in Pennsylvania, and he died at age 80 on April 27, 2011, in an auto accident in East Texas. While trying to avoid the denomination labels, he emphasized the holiness and righteousness of God, and the love of God for the people He created.
