Akon City CLOSED! Wakanda Style Project ABANDONED and $6B WASTED!

Pop Rapper Akon had been working with the Senegalese Government on a $6 Billion project to create a Wakanda inspired tourist destination on the Atlantic coast for years. The project began in 2018 with plans of the first phase being operational by the end of 2023. Fast-forward to 2025 and the only thing standing is a frame for a welcome center.

At least the team trying to recreate Minas Tirith threw in the towel before breaking ground...
