ACDC 2024: U.S. and Philippine Marines Establish Coastal Defense Site in Palawan

U.S. Marines from the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Philippine Marines from the 3rd Marine Brigade establish and occupy an integrated coastal defense site at Kamuning Beach, Palawan, during Archipelagic Coastal Defense Continuum (ACDC) on May 16, 2024.

ACDC is a series of bilateral training events that enhance the Philippine Marine Corps' Coastal Defense strategy and support the modernization of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. This operation reinforces joint interoperability, amphibious coordination, and island-based defense capabilities vital to regional security in the Indo-Pacific.
