Not By Works!

The Apostle Paul tells us we are saved by Grace, not by our works. This is one of the most important concepts taught in the ENTIRE Bible. Yet, far too many believe we must do certain things in order to get to Heaven. Why is that?

More importantly, what does that do to those on the outside of the Kingdom of God when they look at our churches and denominations?

The answer to the second question is easy. It turns them off and pushes them away. If a person who has never known anything but pain and heartache looks at those who claim to be Christians and sees that in order to be one of them they have to dress a certain way, act a certain way, look a certain way, or do things that sound completely alien and mean, then they are going to want nothing to do with being one of those people. And Jesus told us what is going to happen to us if we cause another to walk away from God. Don't let that be you.

For those thinking you can rely on your actions to get you into Heaven, it is time to study the Word of God and quit listening to Men and their Traditions. For those who are wondering why you would ever want to be like those people, you don't. They are nothing like Jesus but you can be simply by trusting in Him.
Yes, actions are necessary as part of our Christian Walk. But we do those things BECAUSE we are Born Again, not so we CAN BE Born Again. There is a big difference.
