Tonight, we invite everyone to join us as we sit back, relax and join the conversation as we watch and discuss the action political thriller The Hunt for Red October which is based on the novel written by Tom Clancy, taking place during The Cold War and stars Sean Connery as Marko Ramius as a Soviet submarine captain (The Red October) who is believed to be headed to the United States to launch an unauthorized attack and it is up to CIA analyst Jack Ryan (Alec Baldwin to discover the Soviet submarines intentions.

The Hunt for Red October also stars James Earl Jones as Admiral Greer, Sam Neill as Captain Borodin, Courtney Vance as Seaman Jones and Tim Curry as Dr. Petrov.

The Hunt for Red October was directed by John McTiernan under the production of Mace Neufeld Productions and Nina Saxon Film Design.

Released on March 2, 1990 by Paramount Pictures, The Hunt for Red October was produced under an estimated budget of $30 million (US) and earned a total of 200.51 million (US) worldwide.
