#StopKillingGames GAINED the Support of EU Official | Potential Co-Opting of Gamer Movement

Stop Killing Games has been gaining momentum over the last few weeks and now an official in the EU is endorsing the movement that’s aimed to stop anti-gamer practices from game studios.

This seems to be what supporters of the movement have wanted in that laws are put in place to stop major game studios from pulling support for games after they have been sold. However, support from the wrong people opens the door to the possibility that the movement will be taken over by those that wish to undermined both gamers and game studios. The EU has been an authoritarian pseudo-government body that’s been trying to consolidate power within their own ranks at the cost of the people and businesses. Anti-consumer business practices have from game studios has spurred the call to action by the EU, but it’s possible action by them, if any, could be worse off then nothing.
