(Ukraine is now Trump's war. He is increasing military aid & doesn't understand the "root causes" that have become an existential threat to Russia that can't be side stepped. Russia, China, and the other BRICS nations fully understand that the Ukraine conflict is a proxy war against Russia & all BRICS nations. Russia was initially willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt, yet Trump never took the hints & has never really understood the long term history. Since it looks like Trump will never come to a satisfactory 'negotiated' settlement, Russia will resolve this on the battle field and dictate the terms of settlement.

A lot of progress has been made on ways to settle international financial transactions among BRICS members without having to use the $dollar & SWIFT. Russian & Chinese experts have been working non-stop with BRICS members since before the BRICS meeting in Kazan last year. It is possible that this will become part of the New Development Bank (NDB) of BRICS. Already a high percentage of trade is being done with local currencies among BRICS members.

Contrary to what Trump keeps saying, it is important to realize that BRICS is not being developed 'against' anyone. As China likes to say: "BRICS is post-West". Trump only has himself to blame for weaponizing the $dollar by shutting down SWIFT for specific international transactions & weaponizing tariffs.

Israel's genocide in Gaza and the combined Israel-US 12-day war against Iran were condemned. There is a lot more to be learned from this excellent discussion. — RAD)
