Here, a modestly large assortment of famous-for-the-time faces [including Sonny Bono] strap on for a red-eye flight from New York to London, unaware there is a potential killer on board...

...who confessed to his future crimes in advance in a letter meant to be delivered to the New York airport's security chief the next day, although the plan comes unstuck when a child's prank results in the letter being delivered early...

Not too bad, just routine 1970s telepic thriller hokum.
