1987 The Simpsons Shorts on The Tracy Ullman Show FOX Network Premiere

In 1987 I was 23 years old and excited for the new Fox Network. Werewolf and 21 Jump Street were my favorite shows. Many people know that The Simpsons premiered in 1989. But...many people may not know that their first appearance was on The Tracy Ullman Show. The aired as "shorts" on the comedy/variety show and were such a big hit, they went on to get their own show.
