After struggling internationally, James Gunn's Superman barely cracked $200 million in its global debut which is $100 million less than where The Minecraft Movie, Jurassic World Rebirth, and the live action Lilo & Stitch landed in their +$300 million starts...this also comes in under Matt Reeves' The Batman and even Snyder's Man of Steel...2nd weekend will determine the film's potential profitability, but this does seem to indicate that those arguing the film is amazing and that off of the internet it is universally loved...don't have as strong a position as they may have thought...also #JurassicWorldRebirth is set to have the worst box office of the World franchise while still making a lot of profit and #LiloAndStitch will indeed be the 1st movie of 2025 to reach $1 billion #Superman #SupermanMovie #JamesGunn
