The experience of encounter, of meeting, is neither a faith nor a belief. We cannot inherit it from others, and even if we do, it is only ideas, images and fantasies—the Imaginary and the Symbolic.

We each find our own path towards this. The journey may be long, hard, and convoluted. There may be many wake-up calls and revelations along the way. These are merely preparations for the encounter. Meeting is the answer.

The mind always wants more. Nothing is ever enough to fill the lack: endless striving, dissatisfaction, sliding from this to that, always seeking more. Yet the answer is. This is the answer: Life—to be.
