Jurassic World

Hello and welcome into the studio. Today's video is a movie piece I did from the Jurassic World film. In this segment I will be constructing the Chris Pratt character Owen. This will be the only video of this piece, but I feel you can really get a feel for my technique on bringing a character out. Materials used in this segment were Copic Markers, Prismacolor Premium colored pencils, and graphite pencil. This piece was done on Strathmore 300 series Bristol paper with a vellum surface. The decision of the paper used is an important step. It really does affect the outcome of the overall piece. Many artist that use the medium I do prefer a smooth surface. I like to have my paper to have a bit it a tooth to it, as it aids me in putting down color.
