Florida Man drives through Tesla protest

West Palm Beach, Florida - On 03/22/2025, police responded to an aggravated assault with a vehicle. Multiple calls were received regarding an SUV driving up on the curb during a protest at the Tesla dealership, almost striking multiple pedestrians. When police arrived, the SUV was still parked on the curb with multiple people around it, and they advised the driver to pull into a nearby parking lot. The pedestrians advised that they were engaging in a peaceful protest when the SUV drove by, yelling obscenities. About an hour later, the same vehicle returned to the area and drove up on the curb, approaching them. The protestors were in fear that they would have been struck by the SUV if they had not moved out of the way. The driver was claiming the SUV was having maintenance issues and was breaking down, however, the vehicle was fine to drive into a nearby parking lot. Tesla staff provided a statement that the driver walked in and stated he stands with Tesla and walked out. The driver was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent.
