Going For A Walk

Memory. It was hard to endure changes due to autism, for Brian. Going from the yard to the road was a big change. He was a great walker & great runner at this time. His feet were normal at this time. It was just autism and difficulty with change that made the walk a challenge, but expected & not impossible. Actually, it was an accomplishment. He did well. When Brian hits his chest in the beginning he is signing "I". About "I" -am going for a walk. Brian was mostly nonverbal but he did communicate in different ways. He knew some sign. He understood a lot of what others were saying though he could not usually respond verbally. Once in a while he would respond verbally. But not usually.
