CHAPTER 4
HEADING - TAKE YOUR SWORD AND KILL!

God has ordained you first of all to be in His presence. Not to be in the world, not to be a backslider, not to be a loser, but to be a winner! The very first thing that happens after you have made the right decision to take hold of God's grace is the following: Because without God's grace you cannot get out of the mud, you simply cannot. Because sin in your life is like quicksand. So, after you have reached the other side, you see that Moses says the following to Joshua and to those who have chosen to serve God:

Take your sword and kill! Kill what is against Me, what resists My Will and cannot submit through rebellion and stubbornness; to My Good Will, My Pleasant Will and My Perfect Will. Kill and destroy that which does not submit. That sounds harsh, sometimes even dictatorial, but it is not. Because everything happens in cooperation with your will. God will not force you, but he knows the consequences if you do not fight this battle.
