Township to appeal Judges order

The Peninsula Township Board in Grand Traverse County voted Monday to appeal a judgment ordering the township to pay nearly $50 million in damages to the Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula. A special meeting was held Monday for public input. The board went into closed session after public comment.
