Karen Read GJ had a leak, or another fake news SoMe story

The Boston Globe dropped a “blockbuster” grand jury story and SoMe went feral. Clearly, this meant Karen Read and Aidan Kearney were going straight to prison, the Feds were kicking down doors, and Josh Levy was about to be frog-marched out of the courthouse. DOOM. Total DOOM.

…Except, not really. The article was built on two anonymous sources, tossed in a few vague lines about the Read case, and somehow the internet connected dots that weren’t even on the same page.

A few people started asking questions—credit to Aidan Kearney for actually checking. And surprise: this probably has nothing to do with Karen Read, and everything to do with the CDL scandal.
