Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee have called for a public hearing on the Jeffrey Epstein case, which has caused rifts among Republicans. LiveNOW's Andrew Craft is learning more about the breaking story from Cami Mondeaux, a congressional correspondent for the Deseret News who covers both the House and the Senate. According to a letter from Democrats on the subject, "To that end, we request that the Committee invite — and, if necessary, subpoena — Attorney General Pam Bondi, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel, and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino to testify publicly about the Trump Administration's review of the Epstein matter, including the conclusions set forth in the undated and unsigned Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI memo providing that 'no further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted.'"
