Why Would Anthropic Appeal a Win???

Anthropic was completely vindicated by Judge William Alsup—but appealed anyway! Why?

Because remaining over their head like the Sword of Damocles are the allegations of piracy, so they filed for an interlocutory appeal so that obtaining and retaining copyrighted material is included in fair use, which would be a boon not just for AI companies but for the rest of us, too!
