Navy trains in Alpena

Naval officers have started two weeks of special training with new technology at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Alpena. The exercises started on Monday and will run through July 25. The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center is run by the Michigan Air National Guard. It opened in 1943. David Barr Michigan News Source.
