🚨 BREAKING: Tsunami sirens going off in Old Harbor, Alaska - 7.3 Earthquake

A 7.3 magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Alaska, specifically near Sand Point on the Alaska Peninsula, prompting a tsunami warning for South Alaska and the Alaska Peninsula, according to KSBW. The earthquake occurred at a depth of nearly 12.5 miles underground and approximately 54 miles south of Sand Point, according to the National Weather Service. Residents in the warning zones are urged to evacuate inland or to higher ground. Currently, there is no tsunami threat to California from this earthquake, according to KSBW. However, the level of tsunami danger is still being evaluated for other US and Canadian Pacific coasts.
