Shine a Light with Nickita Starck - Inner Alchemy Birthwork Training

Recently, Kathleen Sawyer, naturopath and our PHA South Australia Coordinator, met with Nickita Starck of When Push Comes to Shove to talk to her about her upcoming trip to Perth, Western Australia, in December.

When Push Comes to Shove is a decentralised birth education movement, and Nickita Starck, Birth Keeper, lifestyle medicine practitioner, and speaker, has trained hundreds of women worldwide to support birth from the inside out.

The course she is offering in Perth in December is not a normal doula course; it is Inner Alchemy Birth Work. It's about healing the parts of us that still seek control, approval or validation so that these aren't carried into the birth space and into the next generation.

Most doula courses teach you how to support birth.
This one asks you to transform yourself first.

The maternity system is a mirror of our collective wounds. And if we really want to change it, we can't just shout at it. We have to go inward. We have to remember who we are.

This course is for the women who feel that truth in their bones; midwives, doulas, or complete beginners who are drawn to birth work but who are not willing to play by old rules.

You'll be held through deep inner alchemy, receive full doula training if you're new, and learn how to walk with women from a place of true sovereignty.
