'Absurdity': Newsom criticizes Trump's National Guard deployment

California Governor Gavin Newsom called the deployment of National Guard troops to Los Angeles following a spate of protests last month a waste of money. At a news conference at a church in Downey Wednesday (July 16), where ICE officers took people into custody earlier in the week, Newsom called Donald Trump's order absurd.
