🔥 Toronto Heatwave Walk | Bloor Street to Yonge-Dundas (Sankofa) Square 🔥

Join me on an urban exploration walk through Downtown Toronto on an extremely hot and humid summer evening! 🌇 This Toronto summer 2025 walk starts at Bloor Street West & Yonge Street, two of the city's most iconic and busiest streets.

As the heatwave intensifies, Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued an alert, with temperatures soaring to 35°C and humidex levels reaching 42°C. Despite the scorching weather, the vibrant streets of Toronto remain lively with locals and tourists out enjoying the summer city vibes.

We stroll past luxury shops, bustling patios, subway stations, and high-rise towers, making our way south along the legendary Yonge Street, through the heart of downtown. The journey ends at Sankofa Square (formerly Yonge-Dundas Square), where summer energy meets urban nightlife in one of Canada’s busiest pedestrian zones and a landmark in the heart of downtown.

Highlights include:
• Bloor-Yorkville luxury district
• Yonge Street – Canada’s most iconic street
• City heatwave conditions and atmospheric views
• Vibrant crowds & urban culture
• Evening city lights and modern architecture
• Ending at the iconic Sankofa Square
