SCRIPTURE READING FOR THE ANOINTING TODAY
Gen 42:29-34

29 When the brothers came to their father, Jacob, in the land of Canaan, they told him everything that had happened to them.
30 “The man who is governor of the land spoke very harshly to us,” they told him. “He accused us of being spies scouting the land.
31 But we said, ‘We are honest men, not spies.
32 We are twelve brothers, sons of one father. One brother is no longer with us, and the youngest is at home with our father in the land of Canaan.’
33 “Then the man who is governor of the land told us, ‘This is how I will find out if you are honest men. Leave one of your brothers here with me, and take grain for your starving families and go on home.
34 But you must bring your youngest brother back to me. Then I will know you are honest men and not spies. Then I will give you back your brother, and you may trade freely in the land.’ ”

The Word of God To Meditate On Today
Gen 42:29-34 Let Us Stand For The Truth!
Back at Jacob’s they gave an honest report. In any case, they no longer try to deceive their father. They realized that they do not control events themselves. That is a lesson the Lord wants to teach us too. There may be certain circumstances in our lives that we do not know how to deal with, that we cannot influence and can only face honestly. The truth will always catch-up even if lies have gone for several years. The truth does not need modification, it remains the truth for several generations so, let's do nothing against the truth, but for it. Who is the TRUTH? JESUS! John 14:6

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Father, help me live for the truth, even it hurts my ego in Jesus' name! 2 Cor 13:8 NLT

8 For we cannot oppose the truth, but must always stand for the truth.

Weekly Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover me with his feathers, And under his wings shalt I trust: His truth shall be my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee throughout this week in Jesus' name!

Only with my eyes shalt I behold And see the wicked receive their rewards. Because I have made the LORD, my refuge, Even the most High, my habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For God shall give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands, Lest I dash thy foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet. Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set him on high, because I have known His name. I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me. With long life will God satisfy me, And shew me His salvation. So shall it be for me and my household throughout this week in Jesus' name!
