Israel’s illegal occupations in the Palestinian West Bank are under intense scrutiny, after a 20-year-old US citizen was brutally beaten to death by settlers while visiting relatives.

Violence has surged since October 7th, with Netanyahu’s government expanding its occupation ever since - and the UN estimates that 1,000 Palestinians have been killed.

Most countries agree that settlements are illegal - but many religious Israelis believe they have a divine right to be there.
