Yet David would later declare that the law of God rejoices the heart and tastes sweeter than honey.

Modern Christians have a complicated relationship with the law of God. Some view any adherence to God’s law as legalism that upends the Gospel of Grace. Others see it as an outdated set of rules for a time and a nation long ago.

But what if the blessings we are searching for start with a love for God’s law? What if drawing near to such a terrifying scene is the way into true freedom?
