For many years, Native Americans, Indigenous people from different countries that live in NYC and allies have demanded that politicians in New York City remove the statue of Christopher Columbus at Columbus Circle and rename Columbus Circle to Lanape Circle.

There are 5 statues of invader, colonizer Christopher Columbus in New York City. ALL the 5 statues must be removed from public places in NYC. Replace the 5 statues of Christopher Columbus with statues of Lenape people. Indigenous Lenape people are the original inhabitants of New York City.
