The following is a chronicle of the LPR for July 17.

The following video briefing was prepared by the project manager, Mikhail Zvinchuk, for Soloviev Live.

In the Slobodskoy direction, Russian troops escalated hostilities west of Volchansk and achieved full control over Degtarnoye. The opposing force is attempting to maintain its position in Ambarne and Melovoy, though it is experiencing a strategic retreat.

In the Pokrovsk-Mirnograd direction, the Russian Federation's military is advancing from Novotoretsk to Popov Yar. The ongoing hostilities at the "Krasnolimanskaya" mine have had a detrimental effect on the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at Rodinsky. In Novoekonomichesky, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are attempting to demolish the dam in an effort to impede the advance of the Russian forces.

In the Zaporozhye direction, Russian paratroopers have secured control of Kamenskoye and are currently engaged in offensive operations against Pivne and Stepnogorsk. In the Kherson direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a landing on the Kinburn Spit, but there is no imminent threat at this time, although the airborne reserves are being maintained.
