STM, also known as ST Microelectronics, is a Netherlands-based semiconductor company paying a 20% dividend that has sparked our interest as a possible swing trade. Though it might not be the most enticing dividend payer, with only a .97 nominal yield and 8 cents in dividends, its 52-week low and attractive yield make it worth considering. Plus, with a dividend pay ratio of 4.46%, its performance may improve in the future.

Taking a quick look at the charts, it's evident that STM has been trending downward, and just recently announced their earnings with a beat on EPS and a small miss on revenue. The company pays a 89 cents quarterly dividend, not the most impressive for a dividend payer, but it's a solid 1%. As an added bonus, STM is also optionable, meaning it could offer more potential for price appreciation.
