The White-rumped Shama

The White-rumped Shama (scientific name: Sturnus melanopterus) is a species of starling known for its predominantly white plumage and elegant appearance. This bird is also often called the Bodas Starling or Jalak Jalak by some hobbyists in Indonesia.

1. Body size: Approximately 22–24 cm.

2. Feather color: Almost entirely pure white, with a hint of black on the tips of the wings and tail.

3. Beak: Pale yellow or slightly orange.

4. Eyes: Surrounded by light blue skin, striking and distinctive.

5. Voice: Quite loud, can imitate the calls of other birds, but not as fluently as the Suren Starling.
